Approach
Mineral exploration is no longer about just finding what’s on the surface. It demands we look deeper, adapt to difficult terrain and logistics, and adopt new exploration techniques. At SFD Consulting, we thrive in this complexity, bringing a systematic approach to each project that’s agile enough to be responsive to today’s exploration challenges.
We take a scientific approach to every project, coming in with an idea, testing it, and adapting based on the data. We integrate geophysical and geochemical surveys to gain a fulsome picture of the region in which we’re operating. That vein on the surface might look promising. But the data from the surrounding area could lead us to something even better.
As a small firm, we have the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a variety of environments, scaling up resources as needed. And we specialize in working in remote environments—handling everything from camp logistics to generating and testing drill targets.
Experience
Jared Liimu is a senior consulting geologist licensed under Engineers and Geoscientists BC. His experience spans early-stage prospecting to proving drill results throughout mainland BC, Ontario, the Territories, Alaska, and Greenland. His recent work involves porphyry, epithermal, intrusion-related, CRD, and structurally controlled systems in challenging terrain and helicopter-supported environments.
